Apparently after WWI, Germany had to compensate to the ones who suffered from the loss. And the fact is, earlier this month, 3rd Oct 2010, during the celebration of the 20th anniversary merger, Germany had finally cleared its/his/her debt.
Paid their last check to the France government with an amount of 687 million euros.
Imagine that, they spent 92 years to clear ALL their debt.
Imagine that, how many money they had to pay?
Imagine that, they agreed to pay a total of 7000, 000, 000, 000 euros (sorry, im just trying to make the figure looks big. 700 billion euro) back in 1921.
Imagine that 1 euro back in the 20s was 200 dollars? (i dont know the money value back then so...err...)
well, I consider this figure....heavenly? haha. Its take about 20 Bill Gates to pay for it. 92 years worth of debt.
year end = lots of tests.
which is...i consider good thing to me? Just want to get all these over and focus on finding a full-time job. Save more money for overseas study.
